And the government shall rest upon His shoulders

Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

This verse is of course inspired by the recent election. In the bible we are told that God is in control. With Bush's victory many christians now have a sign of that as shown by the exit polls. About 70% of christians that attend church every week also voted for Bush. What if Bush didn't win? We are still told in Romans 8:28 that "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
